The Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism (ICSJ) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, is seeking two new colleagues for the position of Administrative Officer (part-time, 0.5 FTE). One position is intended for the coordination of the doctoral study programme in Czech, and the other for the coordination of the doctoral study programme in English.
Job Responsibilities:
- Organisational and administrative support for doctoral studies within the Centre for Doctoral Studies at ICSJ.
- Administrative support for activities related to the operation of the Institute.
Requirements:
- A university degree (at least Bachelor's level; a Master's degree is an advantage).
- Previous experience in a higher education or research environment is an advantage.
- English language proficiency at a minimum level of C1.
- For the Czech-language programme, Czech language proficiency at a minimum level of C1.
- Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills.

- Expected start date: 1 September 2026.
- Part-time employment (0.5 FTE; 20 hours per week) distributed throughout the working week.
